Residential / Mixed Use Buildings

• K. Hovnanian, Multiple Sites, NJ: as a lead Mechanical Engineer as well as Mechanical Construction Manager, SET oversaw the mechanical design of over 500 single family homes, 30 mid and high rise apartment buildings and 10 mixed use buildings. As part of the overall responsibilities, SET designed the HVAC systems, distribution and controls for apartments, common areas, commercial spaces, elevator machine rooms as well as, exhaust for kitchens (residential and commercial), bathroom, laundry rooms (residential and commercial) and parking garages. In addition, SET was also responsible to manage a crew of mechanics and installers to implement these units.

• Sharbell Development Corporation, Multiple Projects, Robbinsville, NJ: as a lead engineer, project and construction manager, SET oversaw design of multi-story mixed used as well as commercial buildings for Sharbell Development Corporation. As part of the overall responsibilities, SET designed the HVAC systems, distribution and controls for apartments, common areas, commercial spaces, elevator machine rooms as well as, exhaust for kitchens (residential and commercial), bathroom, laundry rooms (residential and commercial) and parking garages. In addition, SET was also responsible to manage a crew of mechanics and installers to implement these units.

• Waterside Villas, Bergen, NJ: SET was responsible to design for HVAC and central boiler plant for a 230 apartment building including common area, a commercial kitchen, central laundry facility, a gymnasium and offices. Design included specific equipment selection, code compliance and construct ability report. This design was done in an expeditious way and was delivered from conceptual design to the permit set in less than 6 weeks.
