- Winstar Communications, Multiple Locations, Nationwide: as a program manager, coordinated effort and was directly involved with the design of over 400 Hub Sites, B sites and switches for Winstar Communications. These
projects were in both high density as well as rural areas. These projects consisted of site determination, preparation of zoning package, attending zoning hearings, design of the electrical,
mechanical, fire protection, structural, and architectural components of each site. all of these projects were on a fast pace and carried between 500 and 1,500 Sft hub sites and 5,000 to 45,000 Sft
switches. SET managed multiple engineering offices (over 75 professional engineers and architects) and was directly responsible for the profit and loss of the offices.
- SBC Communications, Multiple Locations, Texas: as a project manager, SET was directly involved in the design of HVAC for 4 separate switches for SBC Communications. These switches were between 80,000 Sft and
125,000 Sft and required full redundancy. Design consisted of full airflow analysis and distribution of air to match the load rejection of each aisle, HI/CI design, explosion proof battery storage
and ventilation, sophisticated BMS system with full monitoring/alarming.
- Metricom, Multiple Locations, Nationwide: Metricom was the first wireless data company offering wireless broadband to its subscribers. As a project manager, SET’s responsibilities extended to design of
each hub site, produce mechanical and electrical design corresponding to each hub site, survey and incorporate wireless antennae throughout each city for network distribution. SET was directly
involved with the rollout of sites in 40 different cities.
- Nestle Waters North America, Greenwich CT: SET designed and installed a new HVAC and humidification for Nestle Waters North America’s main data center. The design included a new cooling system to replace
the aging equipment, rearrangement of the datacenter to comply with HI/CI, additional cooling based on the expected expansion, full automation and alarming. SET oversaw the implementation of this
project as a construction manager.
